I think so many times, we all get caught up in the "holiday festivities", that we forget to stop and remember what we are even celebrating!
Today we are celebrating all the brave men and woman who serve and protect our country!
Some people may not agree with the wars, but let us ALWAYS remember that each one of those soldiers CHOSE to serve, because they knew they were fighting for a great cause! So lets not argue about the need for them to come home, but instead let us support those that are there, going, or came home!.. and PRAY for the ones over there now!.. Those soldiers NEED our prayers and support!!
So today, while you are scarfing down the hot dogs, apple pie, and watermelon, please take a few moments to remember all those Brave people who gave us a Reason to celebrate!!
