Church Financial accountabilty... Does your church have it??

Mega Churches are sweeping across this country like wildfire it seems!..

Tv Evangelists are taking over the christian tv airwaves preaching on fire messages of Uplifting words, encouraging things and then .. asking for you to send in money!.. Send in your tithes, offerings, seed faith gifts, Love offerings, pledges etc..

But stop and think about all that for a minute... if thousands of people are sending in all this money, and Giving lots of money to local churches, Do YOU know what the money is used for??

Does your church, or ministry you support provide you with a complete financial report, that shows what all money expenses are including Pastoral staff salaries? Does it show all the local charities it is involved in?..

If you answered NO to those above questions, I Urge you to call your church and ask for one, and if they don't produce it, ask yourself what is the reason they wont??

ALOT of Tv preachers live very wealthy, lavish lifestyles.. They have jets, go on lavish vacations, buy very expensive things, homes etc.. and they do in all ion the name of God ..

This has spilled over into our churches as well..
Please dont get me wrong, I believe a pastor of a church should have their basic needs taken care of, they shouldn't be driving run down cars, or living in homes with problems.. They DO work very hard, and we should honor their position by making sure they don't have to worry about those things!

Our country is seeing a sweeping trend, of pastors living lifestyle very similar to Celebrities, and I do not see where God called his servants to do so..

People are giving money in blind faith, and yet not questioning where its going.. Dangerous !

There needs to be accountability to show that no wrong doings are happening with Gods money!..
It isn't Pastors money, It is Gods and it is to be used to do work for his kingdom, NOT live like a celebrity!
